Yep. I'm abandoning all hope moving forward. Just gonna be a bitter asshole. Really sucks too because my son's at the age where he is actually caring a little bit about watching sports.
I'm not gonna make him watch Royals games or probably even take him to any so he might just grow up not giving a shit about them at all. And that's probably the best thing I can do for him as a father. Not subject him to this scumbag org.
Eh I'll probably take him to some. One of the perks of the current stadium is the Little K where he can actually have fun and play games and stuff. That will go away with a downtown park and it will just be watching baseball. Which is torture for little kids. [Reply]

I got to take both of my boys to the Playoff games and WS in 2014 & 15 (they were teenagers at that time. I'm so glad I did because it was a lot of fun to share that experience with them. My youngest just graduated college and moved to KC, and we've been talking about maybe meeting up and going to a Royals game, but neither one of us are really that interested. I think we are just going to wait and go to a Chiefs game in the Fall :-) [Reply]
