I commented before researching.. The Eagles offered C.J. Gardner-Johnson $12 million... And he took $8 million from the Lions? I stand by what I said the guy is trouble in the locker room.. [Reply]

3 years, $25m. I think he would’ve been an interesting bandaid but I don’t think anyone saw him as anything more than a bandaid we’d want to immediately replace once we developed someone better. [Reply]

Orlando brown, traded from the team that drafted him
, took less money from a team other than the one who trades for him. Locker room cancer. [Reply]

The message is simple. If we make a final offer to you and you turn it down, we're not bidding on you on the open market. In the case of Tyreek this resulted in a trade. Shrewd business tactic but you can only go so far with these guys. Honestly, I love it.
If you're going to play games with the GM that's fine. But you better know what your market is once you lost a key bidder, the team who walked away from the table.
In the case of Tyreek, I'll give him his props. He was correct. The Dolphins paid him what he wanted. Not the case with CJ or Orlando. Sometimes these players strike out on what they think they can bring. [Reply]

I'd be really surprised if the WR room as it stands is what they play with in September.
These guys know what they're doing.
Yeah, I mean if we draft a fast-learning rook WR/TE, or we pick up a decent FA WR, maybe one or both of them. But basically the same plan we had when Hill, then Sammy went down for a few weeks in 2019-20. [Reply]
