Yah I hear yah. Nice to get that monkey off your back from a emotional stand point. And with mahomes on the roster there will be plenty more of these deep playoff runs, so a little less perressure. This is only the appettizer for you guys in a several course meal.
On the opposite side of things, this is like a extra desert for me
Naturally one does not want to loose, but is not the end of the world. Should be fun. [Reply]

2) inherited the keys to an offense with one of the best receiving cores in the NFL
3) been drafted and handed the keys by a very good playoff team the first year he is starting and a coach willing to throw the ball
Mahome's has been operating with a Ferrari(Hill) and a couple of BMWs on offense most of this year while many other legendary qb's didn't start off with much.
Well, gosh. If a first-year starter scored 50 touchdowns and threw for 500 yards in this environment, what types of gaudy figures did the veteran quarterbacks have? [Reply]

He was pretty fast so any decent line in college, he should have been able to pick up some decent yards.
Grogan was super tough so it made Tony Eason look really bad in comparison. I still remember a play one year where the Patriots season was over without a first down on a 4th down scenario. Pass rush on Tony Eason and he ducks to protect himself so he survives the sack much better. Game over and from what I remember season over. Eason had that half of a second to see oncoming rush but not enough time to spot an open receiver. Grogan in that end of the year scenario would have just thrown the ball up for grabs even if there was just a 2% chance a Patriots player catches it for a first down.
Grogan played after suffering from a crazy amount of injuries. Almost won a Super Bowl with the Patriots in the 1970's but Patriots lost due to a very controversial roughing the passer called that even Raiders players admit was rarely called. Shell of himself from age/injuries vs the Bears in 86 Super Bowl.
I will certainly congratulate the Chiefs in they win and wish them well in the Super Bowl.
Before the season, I kind of thought the Eagles may actually repeat but I wasn't paying close enough attention to Rams and Chiefs.
Maybe Chiefs win in a blowout but I have a feeling this game -- barring major injuries to key players that can't be replaced -- will be a classic no matter the result and not kind of a dud like Patriots Chargers and Chiefs Colts.
Colin Cowherd actually makes a good case why the Chiefs will win. Basically says having playmakers is more important on the road. [Reply]

Blows my mind that LAC tried to play off all the time when that has gotten so many teams beaten by NE over the years. Pittsburgh finally went away from it in the game they played this year and they got the monkey off their backs.
We HAVE to disrupt the timing of their routes.
That was so bizarre. It's almost like LA thought to themselves "ok we know they're expecting us to get out of the zone and play man....let's stay in the zone...they'll never see it coming" I mean that's the only logical explanation I can think of.
Oh yeah, starting to get real butterflies thinking about our first AFFCG since Montana when I was but a young lad
The difference this time is going to be transcendent young Mahomes at home in an Arrowhead Stadium that will surely be APESHIT... on this day it's going to be a different GOAT who gets his dick knocked in the dirt on the road in the bitter cold [Reply]

And then thought "BB is definitely going to expect us to make an adjustment, so instead let's adjust to that adjustment by not adjusting.. He'll never know what hit him" [Reply]

Never heard Faketriot before I came to this board and I've heard 'em all. [Reply]
