Version 2021 - REVENGE TOUR EDITION
Let's ****ing do this.
Rules for once the draft begins: - No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's So and So to Green Bay) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").
- Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny.
I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. Pure knee jerk gold to reference in the future.
Here is our current pick order:- Round 2 - Pick No. 58: Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri
- Round 2 - Pick No. 63: Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma
- Round 4 - Pick No. 144: Joshua Kaindoh, Edge, Florida State
- Round 5 - Pick No. 162: Noah Gray, TE, Duke
- Round 5 - Pick No. 181: Cornell Powell, WR, Clemson
- Round 6 - Pick No. 226: Trey Smith, G, Tennessee
Here is a list of the prospects the Chiefs have shown interest in this year.

This was pretty much what the Chiefs needed. Was it exciting? Nah, not really.
But solid. Super solid. The Chiefs have "exciting" all over the field, they needed some glue.
They got a new starter in the middle of the defense and a new starter in the middle of the offense, both on rookie contracts.
Even if they don't start right away (and I'm pretty certain Bolton won't), this team is now set at those positions and won't have to worry about the salary cap now.
Looking at Hitchens' contract, this should be his last season, so the timing of Bolton makes perfect sense.
