Look at Alabama’s schedule this season-they face the same issue Notre Dame did. They faced a lot of teams that were down that are typically good(not their fault).
This would be their second chance at a win over a really good team.

What impressive win have they had this season? They had a chance at one, against Cincy, and they lost, convincingly.
Bama at least had a dominating win against Ole Miss. A Top 10 team.

I don’t think I articulated my point correctly.
Notre Dame doesn’t have a win over a really good team, but suffered similarly to Alabama where a lot of teams on their schedule underperformed relative to their talent, history, etc. [Reply]

I would rather see the best 4 teams in there that are going to give us the best games, rather than just taking a one loss team with no impressive wins, based solely on the fact that they are a one loss team. [Reply]
