Releasing Fisher and Schwartz is vintage Veach... aggressively tear down and attack a problem area like he did with the defense two years ago.
The Chiefs are going to do everything in their power to ensure a repeat of the Super Bowl, in terms of Mahomes running for his life never happens again. [Reply]

I'd say they are more likely to be fine now that they've released two guys who likely weren't going to produce at all in 2021 for them to make room for others. [Reply]

I think he might be their long term plan at LT. I have a feeling that his opt out delayed their plans by a year. Agreed they will probably start him at RT to get him used to the speed of the game before eventually shifting him to LT. [Reply]

You just can't trust everything they tell the media...
Of course not. But when they tell us things like that these guys will be back and ready to play, why would we suddenly not trust that they have a plan? Just because we want something different than they want?
That's the central issue here. Some of us have spent the offseason speculating on what we think might happen. It's never been about what we WANT - we talk about that in the draft forum. And for some people, they can't seem to understand the difference. [Reply]
