Many people, me included, will always like Jordan better because we enjoyed that era more.
I have no idea who would have been better in each others NBA. Is why I don't get into goat arguments much. Things change too much to ever really say who was the best over history. [Reply]

I do find it amusingly pathetic that some are still clinging to the idea that MJ had the better career nearly five years past the point that stopped being even a tenable statistical argument. Not nearly as pathetic as those shitting on a guy for getting bothered by someone in the crowd saying they wished his son died, though.
It's so obvious that about 1 in 10 people may agree with you. [Reply]

There are some smart, well spoken athletes that take up just causes and articulate their positions quite well. However Lebron and Kaepernick are two great examples of why sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people just think you are a moron as opposed to opening your mouth and proving it. No basketball player has dominated better competition for a longer amount of time than LeBron James. Therefore he's the best player ever. You can argue MJ had a slightly better peak, but he was playing against plumbers & tax attorneys.
The attempt at the Sam Cassell celebration was painful to watch. He obviously has some mental issues that are coming to the surface now. The yuppie white couple in the front row finally broke him. [Reply]

Yeah, I’m stoked about the Suns play right now. Starting 1-3 and the Robert Sarver thing had me legitimately worried about the season. They’re playing lights out right now!
And now that I’ve said something about their winning streak, they’re for sure going to lose their next game. I’ve been holding off on bringing it up in this thread because I know I will jinx them. [Reply]
