I'm more interested in the idea that the Browns/Broncos rumors could have some truth to them. I'm really not that concerned with how much Denver has to give up to get their guy.
I hope horseface is stupid enough to trade up to #1....draft point value means he would have to trade the entire 2018 and a 2019 2nd or 3rd...to move up 4 slots.
#1 = 3000
#5 = 1700...the rest = 948 or 2648 total
He'll have to trade next seasons #1 and 2018 #1 to make it happen. [Reply]
Maybe a Browns/Broncos trade could happen earlier than the Rams/Titans trade due to the unique situation going on with Cousins. If the Broncos are going to give up on Cousins, they'll probably want to ensure that they have the #1 pick locked up before they bow out. [Reply]

Rams traded 2016 1,2,2, and 3 and 2017 1 and 3 to move up. [Reply]

You're going to be paying the Browns asking price to do so. [Reply]

Without Cousins it’s over dude. A rookie QB is going to take 2-3 years to be ready and your defense will need retooling at that point.
Same as what the Chiefs are doing right now. [Reply]

Weren't they trading up from the middle of round 1? Denver is giving up a top 5 pick. Cleveland can turn the 5th overall pick into even more picks from the Bills or Dolphins who could be trying to leap the Jets. [Reply]

The Chiefs have to retool because your GM destroyed your salary cap and didn't find replacements for aging players.
We'll be in much better shape with a young QB in year 2 than we would've been with Cousins' contract in year 2. [Reply]

Or the Browns could just wait for a desperation offer from Arizona or wait to see what happens with Cousins to see if the Jets want to trade up as well. [Reply]

You have literally nothing in the way of young, talented skill position players on Offense as it stands now. [Reply]

That highly depends on how the draft goes and everyone knows Elway has really struggled there.
All of Denver’s best players on the team right now are either old or almost done being in their prime. [Reply]

Carlos Henderson and Jake Butt could change things. Denver also has a full set of high picks in rounds 2-7 plus additional 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounders. [Reply]
