But they’re unbeatable!
They didn’t lose a single game outside of conference this year. Maybe their conference was a lot better than people gave them credit for? The Big East certainly seemed to perform in the Tourney this year.
They were just a point away from having 2 of their teams in the Final Four. [Reply]
Would college football make more money if they had this type of post season chaos? The fact that Florida Atlantic could win it all this year is terrific CFB has like 3 teams that could win it all next year [Reply]

Make money? Sure, because people in the U.S. watch college football.
Expanding the CFP to 12 teams may make an anomaly team have a chance at contending for a title once in a while, but would be super uncommon for a Group of 5 team to actually win a title.
The closest to a cinderella in the CFP has been Cincinnati and TCU.
Butler's probably the greatest cinderella of recent history in basketball and they still didn't win a title though they came so close. [Reply]
BREAKING: Rodney Terry, who led #Texas to a Big 12 tourney title and Elite 8 after taking over for dismissed head coach Chris Beard, will be offered the #Longhorns’ head-coaching position, a high-level university source told @Horns247 Sunday night.https://t.co/gDFFmDEAWC

That makes them even more intriguing, IMO. [Reply]
Texas has reached an agreement with Rodney Terry for him to be its full-time basketball coach. Source close to the situation says the terms are five years worth $15.3 million.
