Madden tried that vision cone thing precisely because they realized that shit like that was too unrealistic. No, of course a QB can't just scan the entire field all at once and throw it equally accurate to either side. Madden players, you're gonna have to at least direct his eyes that direction to make it fair for the defenses.

I wondered about this play before, but seeing this angle, I have to think this was just a lucky miss. Kelce was open crossing the field, the CB on the outside has his back turned - no reason not to lead Kelce on the throw. That said, hard to see PMII missing by THAT much - confusing play.
