If the team I'm rooting against fumbles that ball, it's guaranteed that the defenders will kick it around the field and allow an offensive lineman to jump on it. In this case, of course, a fatass DL was there to scoop it up like Beckham and advance it. [Reply]
Very questionable play calling tonight. Channeling EB it appears....
We need Daniels back.....This is a way different team with JD taking snaps. [Reply]
I don't know if it's play calling that's bad or just the fact that Bean stares down his first read on most plays.
And he really needs to get some better awareness. There are several examples of his poor awareness tonight, especially that last play he was in the game. How do you hold the ball that long and not feel a defender coming at you?
Bean is such a frustrating player to watch. At times, he looks incredible. Other times, he looks clueless.
Again, BWillie is wrong on this. Despite their QB ratings being pretty much even, the eye test tells me that Daniels is clearly the better player. [Reply]
Bean is the most all or nothing player I’ve ever seen on a football field. It’s clear that for him to win, the offense has to run through Neal. You just can’t make the 1 bafflingly terrible decision per game that he makes (and his 1 stone cold quarter) and expect to win with our defense.
Jalon is just way more consistent. When he doesn’t have it as a passer he can also create with his legs. Bean, for whatever reason, seems to thrive in designed runs but hesitates before committing to the run otherwise. Jalon also isn’t afraid to throw the ball away, a suggestion that Bean seems appalled by.
If Jalon sits another week the twitter murmurs that he has a season ending injury will start to gain way more traction. [Reply]

It wasn't even Twitter murmurs, was it? I recall a reporter actually saying it was a season-ending injury shortly after it happened until Leipold/Daniels went into denial mode immediately. [Reply]
