Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Miss any one of those components, and I'm sorry, but you're not Patrick Mahomes. You can still be pretty good, but don't even ****ing try to compare yourself.
Mahomes has never before been a thing in the NFL. And to find the next one, we're going to have to raise a generation of kids who want to GROW UP to be Patrick Mahomes their entire lives.
Exactly, and there are millions of 12 year old boys practicing that no look pass against all their coach's instructions.
You could also mention that he's apparently an awesome dude that everybody genuinely likes. He's not aloof like some great QB's. He's very engaged with his team-mates, and I think guys play harder for him because of it.
It's hard to find a guy who seems so humble but yet plays with such confidence and never look like a fraud in either case. He has that introspective mind but without letting it distract him in the moment. [Reply]

This is Jared Goff's GF
I assume Jared did not meet her in high school. Mahomes' girlfriend seems to have been a very positive influence on his life for about 7 years now and he's performing very well on the football field with zero drama off the field. You shouldn't root for him to change the status quo...could all go to shit in a hurry. Look at Tyreek Hill and Jovan Belcher. [Reply]
