So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]

Yeah, he's always been a fat slug. Showing up for TC on time like a consummate pro isn't going to change that. A little weight gain shouldn't hurt either. It's not like his 40 will take a nose dive or anything. [Reply]

First year in KC. He did play there a couple of years ago when Stanley went down. Baltimore runs a far different offense than KC though. [Reply]
Some people like him, but I don't care for Nick Jacobs and his arrogance talking about players and how they should take less and be "better teammates". [Reply]

That can't be true.
Red Dawg has assured us that he's nowhere close to that. [Reply]
I know that everyone loves sacks. The Chiefs defense last year was ranked #7 in Pass Rush win rate. Pressure effects offenses just likes sacks do. We are being a little off season over reactive...
We have gone younger, faster and we needed to. Everything we say right now is just a guess; however, if you read interviews with players they understand the defensive scheme is complex and are taking a team concept to learning it and bringing everyone up to the same level.
Chemistry and a team concept helps. Kansas City seems to have leaders on both sides of the ball that motivate, support and develop players. How about we wait until at least the pre-season starts so we can see them on the field before assuming the team has regressed.
Or continued the regularly scheduled program of OMG Brown is an idiot for not signing the contract, we lost everything when we didn't sign Tyreek, our secondary is nothing without the Honey Badger (insert your exaggeration of choice here). [Reply]
