I missed this one entirely. That's a weird move. I feel like maybe there is something I must be missing, guy is around 4.5 yds / carry over the last 3 years (dropped to 2.9 when traded to NYJ, but was solid with JAX). Not a world beater, but he could fit very nicely in someone's system and can even be a lead guy for a number of teams. [Reply]

Probably the Achilles deal. He came out of the gate hot, then hot fizzle. [Reply]

Maybe, there might be more though. I mean, he was still averaging 4.2 ypc last year after the Achilles when he was in JAX. That's good for 32nd in the league. 39th at 3.9 ypc if you include his numbers after being traded to NYJ.
I'd feel like thats still good enough to land as part of a committee somewhere.
I'm sure he'll end up landing somewhere for some role. Maybe this season, maybe next. Just a situation that is curious to me. [Reply]
Only scenario the Chiefs would even consider signing any of those veteran RB’s is if Pacheco’s recovery from all of his offseason surgeries is slower than expected.
But if Prince continues to emerge even that scenario may not temped them. [Reply]

I agree, another RB would be a nice to have but we don't need one unless someone goes down I don't think.
I'd like to see us pick up another LE that can get to the passer. [Reply]
