Well, this one hurt. I don't even know why. It's not like the Huskers have shown at any time this year that they can win games they should. Wisconsin is not a good team. They showed that today. It was like a contest of who sucks more, and the Huskers have to win some how, so that's how they won. They suck more.
Next week at Iowa. A team that sucks on offense, almost as bad as the Huskers. Husker D can hold them but the offense is...putrid. I expect a 10-3 type loss.
I do not care for Nebraska Football, but they signed a really good friend of ours who should be a terrific player for them. Ergo, I'll be watching them pretty closely beginning in 2024 or so. [Reply]
I follow the Huskers a bit. I live in Kansas but work in Nebraska, so I keep up on the Huskers for conversation pieces at work. I think the Huskers may have gotten this hire right. I wasn't sure at first he was the right hire. But everything he has done appears to have this program heading in the right direction. I'm starting to think this may be another of the outstanding coaches at the college level, out of their element in the NFL, and back to outstanding at the college level scenarios we have seen over the past 15 to 20 years. It may take a year or two to fix everything in Lincoln, but so far it looks/sounds promising. They are signing some good kids, including a QB out of the Omaha area. It just may take a little time for this to all come together. [Reply]
