Nzoner's Game Room>The Official 2022 FIFA World Cup Thread
TripleThreat 05:48 PM 11-09-2022

YOUNG AMERICANS
The USMNT was by far the youngest team to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, garnering valuable experience going through the rigors of World Cup qualifying. Through 14 qualifiers, the USA Starting XI came in at an average of 23.82, almost two years younger than the next closest team, Ghana at 25.67. Together, the other 31 participating teams averaged a Starting XI age of 27.5 through qualifying, nearly four full years older than the U.S. Sources say this is one of the youngest, but most talented teams the U.S. has ever fielded. While they may not win the world cup this year, they may garner the experience needed to make a serious run on home soil in the year 2026 when the World Cup comes back to North America.

The whole “being taken by Uber to the hospital after 30 minutes of emergency treatment” thing seems weird.

I’m not giving a murderous autocratic regime like Qatar any benefit of the doubt.

Eh, no one who was actually there has said anything about it being suspicious, just speculation and his grieving brother.

While nothing would surprise me, it just sounds like it's a fluke deal.

It’s probably not a conspiracy.

But I could see Qatar slow playing treatment given his journalism.

Here's the thing, it would take a directive to inform whatever Dr. or nurse treated him. They would have to 1. Know who he was, and 2. Know about the directive. I doubt that would fly privately and would be exposed pretty quickly.

They should be able to go toe to toe with Portugal too. Nothing shows that they can’t. Spain dominates possession against everyone.

I mean they’ll be underdogs still against France but we can shed the Cinderella label. This team plays great defense and can grind out games just like Croatia.

You all need to watch more AFCON. The most disappointing part is that a Mane injury and Idrissa Gueye yellow card accumulation probably robbed us of what could have been an absolutely fantastic matchup this afternoon!

There’s no reason whatsoever to suspect foul play, at this point.

Senegal were pumped by England, there's no way they win that game

Morocco has played toe to toe with some good teams, they aren’t a Cinderella story, they’re a quality team that was overlooked by western press.
