Except the Fisher loss was more critical than you think. Losing him meant Remmers who was decent as a RT was moved to LT which was a terrible mismatch. Since he moved over, Wylie had to move to RT which he was sorely unprepared for. Then a backup had to take Wylie’s spot at RG.
Fisher was no Roaf, but he was good enough to hold his own as evidenced by the game earlier that year. He stays there, Remmers at RT, and Wylie at RG and that line would have been significantly better and Mahomes would not have run for almost 500 yards. [Reply]

We won the lottery and forgot what it was like being poor. Back in the days when we only got steak once in a while and never the best cut. [Reply]
Out of the 100 simulated games, Madden simulated the Chiefs winning 57 games, leaving the Eagles to win 43. Right off the bat, the Chiefs already have a higher chance to win, and a lot has to do with Patrick Mahomes. The most notable prediction for the Chiefs' QB is that he will throw for at least one touchdown pass and have at least 200 passing yards. The only outlier was game number 13 where Mahomes only threw for 196 yards, but three touchdowns. [Reply]

I just think some people are just negative about everything. Perhaps it’s a defense mechanism against disappointment. Or perhaps it’s a way to hedge against either outcome. Personally I would prefer saying and thinking the Chiefs will win and if they don’t then I am disappointed vs the other option to say “I was right and told you so”. [Reply]

Toney has a future as a slasher villain if he ever wants to take up acting. There's always something just a bit unnerving about that stare of his. [Reply]
