Many people don’t even have a ROTH. Even $1k a year is better than nothing. You’re doing fine if that’s what you can do. There’s been years where I don’t max it. Do you have a 401k as well? [Reply]

Huh. The outfit here is a fucking ghosttown at closing time.
Either way, you can go to school with 60 hours a week, depending on your degree program.
I was working full time when I was in my MBA program full time. I couldn't do the accelerated timeframe, but I could stay fulltime working 40 hours a week.
You can get into a program and take a couple night classes, more if you take online classes.
If it's what you want to do, fucking do it.
But yeah, it's a bad idea to dump your revenue stream. Not to mention the pension and benefits. [Reply]
KState Ag Econ has a program where you use MPCI guarantees as a put option for hedging purposes.
Anyway, I went to a presentation about it where the first slide of the powerpoint was
DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM IF YOU HAVE NOT LOST MONEY TRADING OPTIONS
Not traded options, but lost money. I still chuckle about it. [Reply]

Yep. 55 hours a week is about average. I've been doing it for a little over 2 years now. If you are lucky you only work 10 hour days and get Sundays off. But for the past few months we've had to deliver packages a couple Sundays a month. Enjoy Thanksgiving, Clay. You won't get a day off until the second week of January if you're lucky. [Reply]

Sure hope I don't trip and fall and hurt myself when it gets icy...I might have to take a few days off work to recover. [Reply]
