Sunshine pumpers will say he needs more time, but the likely truth is it will be 2 years from now and they most likely won’t be significant better or anywhere close to a winner. They don’t have anywhere close to enough talent in the minors, and we sure as hell can’t buy wins. So the question is when will the majority of people finally come to the forgone conclusion that Moore isn’t going to build a winner?

If it doesn't work under Matheny, I don't think Moore gets a chance to hire another manager. I wouldn't argue for it. He has done amazing things. He has done good things. Sometimes, it's time for a change.

I'd be looking for the best piece of the Tampa brain trust I can get in that situation.

When you look up and down the lineup and basically every hitter is underperforming, you start looking at coaching (hitting coach, manager) as well. They can't take the ABs for them, of course...
