I think it's very advantageous for the Chiefs...to have seen them already this year in a big time national game. The fact it's at home vs. Foxborough is a huge difference...
I agree. Its huge for Mahomes to have seen the Patriots before Sunday. Can only help and it'll help him for sure. He saw 53 defensive alignments. Down n distance. Personnel. However there will be many situations where he'll get the same look as he did in October, but the players will do something different. Bill disguises coverages very well. More stunting, different fronts, etc.
....and you guys will do the same thing to Tom.
One big chess match between Bill and Reid. [Reply]

One, we do not play Zone vs Patriots ever, and this has hurt us at time but we just don’t like doing it because TB will **** you up.
Our Receivers are vastly superior, not up for debate.
O-line I’ll concede to Pats but not a huge gap
Defense again concede to Pats but neither are worth bragging about as overall units.
Special Teams, Chiefs won hands down
Offense, while they are both good Chiefs win by averaging almost 10 more points a game.
That being said, it’s a even matchup. And I’m looking forward to a great game. Home field might be the tipping point.
First off, yes one of my pet peeves is fans that post stuff or say stuff that is not correct because they have a big mouth, failed to check or both.
I think one of the keys to the game will be if our defense can hold off your offense more so than your defense holding off our offense.
I like our offense's chances to move the ball. We have running backs who can run and and catch the ball. And Edelman finds a way to get open. I am guessing that the Pats might run a clock controlling game plan to shorten the number of possessions. If we can execute this, there will be fewer possessions in the game.
It will just come done to if we can stop your offense enough times. And we will have to wait till Sunday to see if we can do this.
Also the crowd. The Pats have been making mental mistakes pretty much all year on the road and some of that is due to the crowd. Also, we did not fare well the last time we played in Arrowhead
In addition, Brady does have a few stadiums where he just not play well, like Miami and Denver. This past season in the Miami loss he had a brain fart and took a sack with no time outs at the end of the first half costing us a chance at a chip shot field goal (which would of given us a 8 point lead at the end before end play) Time will tell if Arrowhead is the same.
I agree with you if this ends up being a close game, the extra benefit you get from the crowd could very well be the tipping balance. A false start here, and sack there cause we are on a silent count, etc.
Hopefully the o line will be able to protect Brady.
As for us and Mahomes, not sure what we have cooked up. We have a few pass rushers but Mahomes is fast. BB might have a plan keep him in the pocket and not necessarily try to sack him.

I have been on the board since last fall when we played you guys in Foxboro and I hopped on to talk about that game. And stuck around here and there afterwards to talk about a few things.
I am here now to chat about the game. Like you I am excited about the game and like to hear what other fans have to say.
Btw, I use the same user name Yehoodi and you can fine me on other sites, i am not one to hide under a different name and change my personality. I am who I am.
As for other Pats fans I can not speak for them and it can be a bummer ff fans come over and talk smack, btw, we have a few chiefs fans on the Pats board too that can sling the smack talk.
You just gotta sift threw the folks that talk smack and those talking about the game.
As for the game, I have no expectations, the Chiefs are rolling and we have to deal with them and the crowd.
If we win great, but if not, that is just how it is.
1. No, you've been just fine.
2. Don't take people spewing venom at you personally. If you really like another poster here, you might tell him to drink antifreeze or die in a flaming AIDS tree. Or you might say "you seem nice." It's unpredictable. [Reply]

The last time my team was in the AFCCG, I was HALF the age I am now. A little MORE than half actually.
Some of us, including me, started this board in 2000, 18 years ago, and have suffered through playoff losses, Herm Edwards, and a player killing himself in the parking lot (after killing another innocent human being no less).
This is THE most exciting time I've ever experienced as a fan, an I've been a fan for over 30 years. I show up Monday morning on my favorite message board and see THIS.
It's incredibly frustrating. Don't get me wrong - we'd LOVE to talk football with you guys. But most of these people don't want to talk football, they only want to entertain discussions that end with the Patriots winning.
No worries, i hear yah.
As fan of Boston/NE sports from the early 70s to the present, I had a lot of heartbreak really up until 2001 (nearly 30 years) of near misses and a few isolated wins.
Our teams seemed to find a way to loose or had a management that did not want to get the key players and it was always the other city's team that won. The Bruins are still like this to a degree.
The one thing that would be nice, but would require mods to control the thread, if you had a thread that was talking about game and was monitored a great deal.
But fully understand man, folks just want to come and talk sports and the game whilst basking in the excitement of the anticipation of Sunday's game.
And also with the back drop of there very likely will be many years to come like this year.
Regarding the last few points i am really happy for you and your fellow fans. [Reply]
