I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16)
Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you:
Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere
Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel)
C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel

Not only do those ducatis have great performance, they have managed to make a good looking sports bike. I feel like every crotch rocket around uses the same bug to take their styling ques from. That Ducati though.... Damn. [Reply]
Yeah, so I'm an idiot. Rode my bike to work Wednesday and when I went to ride it this morning I had left the key on. It was dead as a door knob. Hoping I didn't ruin the battery and it will take a charge, because I would really like to ride it down to Bikes Blues & BBQ. [Reply]
some items on the maintenance schedule to maybe think of / think to ask the seller (if he even knows)...or be prepared to inspect himself (your brother)
and looks like NADA is not representative of market value. Market is much higher, north of 4k for bikes with similar miles.

my brother headed down there today. wish I could've gone with him, but I'm bikeless at the moment. but have arranged a deal on another from a riding buddy of mine. just waiting on the other one to be settled up with my credit union, hopefully by next week. Then apply for the next loan.
was hopeful things would've worked out where I could've had everything wrapped up so I could have something to roll to BBB. oh well. next year.
