Thanks man. I try to do what i try to do . . . in the end we are all just fans that like our team and we all need to be realistic about our team. :-)

I like hanging out at times on other boards to get a idea of what the other guys think. At home in person all of my friends are pats fans, so the net is the really the only way i get to discuss football with other fans.

I have been on the board since last fall when we played you guys in Foxboro and I hopped on to talk about that game. And stuck around here and there afterwards to talk about a few things.

I am here now to chat about the game. Like you I am excited about the game and like to hear what other fans have to say.

Btw, I use the same user name Yehoodi and you can fine me on other sites, i am not one to hide under a different name and change my personality. I am who I am.

As for other Pats fans I can not speak for them and it can be a bummer ff fans come over and talk smack, btw, we have a few chiefs fans on the Pats board too that can sling the smack talk.

You just gotta sift threw the folks that talk smack and those talking about the game.

As for the game, I have no expectations, the Chiefs are rolling and we have to deal with them and the crowd.

If we win great, but if not, that is just how it is.
You seem like a good dude. It's just a couple of the other trolls that are mucking thing up. Don't sweat it.

LOL... Actually, that's a part of HFA. Denver is at high altitude. They are used to it. That gives them a bit of an advantage. NE playing a southern California team in at home in January is an advantage. Why do you y'all routinely lose to Miami on the road? The weather is different than what you are used to.

Weather is a part of HFA...

So much this! KC is set up to be the NE of the next decade... We just need our divisional foes to tank like NE's so we can take weeks off and it not matter...

Wow. Pats fans are the most insecure entitled fans in the NFL.

Let's lighten things up with a joke.

What's the difference between Tom Brady and Darth Vader?

Darth Vader never frenched Luke Skywalker.

No Denver had good teams.

You guys have won your last 4 in DEN. Why? You had good teams, matchups and it had nothing do with altitude.

I can go thru every Pats @MIA game and tell you why they lost and won and it had nothing to do with weather.

Had enough?

I can not speak for other fans . . . but as my heart is on my sleeve i will say the following . . .

Would love to see Brady get a 6th ring . . .

Would love to see Brady beat one of the new kids on the block Mahomes to bookend his career. Brady has already beaten Luck and Wilson. True playoffs are only one game, but nice to win if one can.

Be nice to see him win in Arrowhead.

Am worried about the game, but not as much as the two Denver road games, one year could not enjoy wildcard weekend as had to wait till Div weekend in the hopes Denver would lose, which they did not.

As the Pats near the end of the Brady era, i am getting more comfortable with it, be nice to get another ring. I do think we will be around for a few more years near the top.

Yes I can understand some pats fans are worried about the end with no heir in the wings.

As the game, the Pats will need to execute and not make mistakes and we have a chance.

I then pointed to the pathetic competition your team had at home.

Brady will get your D into zone out of fear, and then he will pick it apart.
Except that...no.

Again Patrick Mahomes winning percentage is loads higher than Tom Brady’s in games below 35 degrees

Thanks . . . I hear ya . . .

It is one thing if folks are limiting their talk to a few threads, so one can ignore them.

At the same time though it can kind of suck if one wants to just come on their home board and talk shop and the game (and to other fans), and at an very exciting point in their teams history, without having to get into too much smack talk.

KC fans may disagree but Hill isn't far off from being best wide receiver in the game in terms of pass catching. Pro Football Focus ranks him 3rd in the entire NFL right now. So a heck of a force. Patriots players and fans fear him. And I think its fair to say he just isn't a Mahomes creation either. Gotten better throughout his entire career like many younger receivers do and had nearly 1200 yards receiving last year despite playing with a conservative passer for most of the year.....

Kelce one of the best pass catching tight ends in football.

Hunt was there for a good portion of season to pile up KC stats. And he sure seems like a very good receiver that is hard to fully replace.

Given those 3 and Mahomes ability and willingness to take chances not a shocker that KC piled up the yards passing and touchdowns this year.

When Brady with Moss put up crazy TD numbers as well, the Patriots were defined more by their 2-3 top weapons in the passing game such as Moss/Welker and less by having let's say 5-6 B+ options and no real A/A+ options

Moss back then > current Hill -- but Hill still awesome/ridiculous
Welker >= Kelce
Hunt > probably better than any 2007 Patriots 3rd option that team had as a receiver/pass catching back.

It is foolish to argue that Chiefs aren't top heavy but unless the Patriots have 2 defenders that can cover Hill and Kelce 1 on 1 most of the time and really contain them, it is kind of moot. Those 2 even without Hunt good enough to open up the game for inferior players.

Alex Smith who I have watched since his 49er days is a conservative passer that tries to limit mistakes and not take too many chances at all.

It says something about how ridiculous the Chiefs 2 top options were even last year when Hill was even less experienced that despite Smith missing a game so Mahomes could play, in the back half of his career the conservative Smith still threw for over 4000 yards.

As I read another Chiefs fan say this is Alex "check down" Smith throwing over 4000 yards despite missing a game. This isn't a gunslinger willing to take shots down the field all of the time like even a Drew Bledsoe.

Someone like Mahomes perhaps with a gunslinger's mindset can probably still put up 4500+ yards with some lesser options but that is where the interceptions sometimes come.

It will actually be interesting to see Mahomes eventually play with lesser talent on offense and perhaps better talent on defense. Does he get a little more conservative and maintain a winning style of football like a Russell Wilson or is he a modern day Brett Favre/Marino that just say F it, I am flinging the ball no matter who the hell I have.

I’m fine with disagreeing one smalls things, it’s when people say shit that is patently false that bothers me.

One, we do not play Zone vs Patriots ever, and this has hurt us at time but we just don’t like doing it because TB will fuck you up.

Our Receivers are vastly superior, not up for debate.

O-line I’ll concede to Pats but not a huge gap

Defense again concede to Pats but neither are worth bragging about as overall units.

Special Teams, Chiefs won hands down

Offense, while they are both good Chiefs win by averaging almost 10 more points a game.

That being said, it’s a even matchup. And I’m looking forward to a great game. Home field might be the tipping point.

Be nice to see Brady end his career with a loss to Mahomes and then retire.

Every year the Pats have the easiest schedule and road to the Super Bowl- but Not this year. They have to play the best team in the AFC on the road at the Loudest Stadium in Sports.
