So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]

Have to be offered a contract to be able to sign one. As of this time it looks like no one really wants to kick that can.
But let's be honest here. The only reason Fish could even be considered a possibility to sign with the Chiefs is because of the knowledge of scheme. Even saying that though it is in a belief from a couple years ago. This 2022 OL is much different, the offense will be different. Probably one the requires a much larger presence in run blocking. Not a Fish strength. What really is though? He may not even be a consideration for the front office at this point.
I said earlier that I would be mildly okay with Fish next to Thuney. I'm still in that mindset. However, hopefully Orlando will show up at some earlier than expected in TC rather than after the season starts. If he waits till after the season starts to report. The message would be clear. Time to move on ASAP. Tag his ass and trade him to some NFC team. [Reply]
Seriously, though. . . Are you referring to these specific individuals? These specific players on the current roster? This generation of players? These player positions? The type of player who holds out?
Need more info before I can assess the assertion. [Reply]

Never liked this signing.
I assume you mean trade. The trade had value because 2 years of tag control. Brown has to play this year and he is playing for a contract regardless of where he plays next year. [Reply]
If Brown doesn’t sign, I don’t think Reid is looking to bring in a replacement like Fisher.

It’s a shame Niang is injured. This could have been his chance to steal that LT position from Brown with OBJ sitting out. Someone is going to get a chance to show us and the rest of the NFL that they can play LT in this league.

Plus we got Bolton and possibly Creed out of it. [Reply]

Or not.
Niang couldn't even play RT. No fucking way I want him protecting Mahomes' blind side.
You all are getting fucking ridiculous. Bunch of retards. [Reply]
