I didn't think they would cut both but I knew at least one would be gone. That's why I thought all the posts talking about how they'd both be starting by mid season weird.
Oh well. They both had good runs here. Big parts of us winning a superbowl. Thanks guys! [Reply]

My guess is Niang will be substantially better than Remmers at RT. Of course, we don't know what we are getting with Niang, but Remmers is a Guard. No way I put him back out there at T. Niang has a good track record and seems to move well for his size, so pretty sure he is part of the mix. [Reply]

Id be all for it. We are still in the ballpark of what though $3 million over the cap? Williams likely demands a contract in the ballpark of $18-$20 million per. Still a tall task even after these cuts I would think? [Reply]
The Chiefs releases of Eric Fisher and Geoff Schwartz are not all that surprising. Schwartz's future has been unsure since injuring his back, while Fisher's Achilles tear puts 2021 in serious jeopardy.
KC loves Lucas Niang, which it had a second-round grade on last year.
And their injuries were a big part of losing a Super Bowl. I'm as shocked as everybody else about both being gone but I think everyone is finding out BV isn't sentimental when it comes to winning and losing Super Bowls. [Reply]
