Overall, I'm liking it more than I thought I would.
But yeah, the Leia scenes, particularly the bad guys chasing her, are pretty lame/annoying. In general, Star Wars should really stay out of the woods.
Definitely agree with Listo in that the actress doesn't look, sound or act like a naturally gifted and educated 10-year-old. They needed an Aria Stark type, and she's definitely no Maisie Williams.
Also, the whole Kenobi-saving-Leia bit does kind of fuck up one aspect of the original movie - if she knew who he was, and he had personally saved her, why would she say "years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars" instead of "years ago you saved me from the bounty hunters"? But like so many other things in Star Wars (and for that matter, Star Trek) that get fucked as they set new shows prior to established stuff we've already seen, I guess you just have to take it for what it is. I'd be shocked if Cal isn't in the show. Announced the sequel for Jedi Fallen Order right around the time the show premiered and it takes place at the exact same time this show does, 10 years after Order 66. [Reply]

It’s funny….one of the opening scenes with kenobi (grunt work/on the shuttle) reminded me of the beginning of fallen order.
