Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.
Brown didn't play as well as I thought he would but a couple few things to consider...
1. Myles Garrett is probably the best DE in the league. A tough task for any tackle. Brown isn't Willie Roaf, and Garrett is going to get his because he's that good. Similar to Kelce. He's so good, doesn't matter if he's doubled, he's going to get his. It's just that way with some of the elite players in this league.
2. It's only wk1. Chiefs essentially have a new OL across the board. Gonna take some tinkering and getting used to, they will have their problems at times.
3. Mahomes needs to step up into the pocket better. He has tendencies to drift from the pocket. Mahomes is not God, and deserves criticism when warranted. [Reply]

It was a very Eric Fisher like performance when going up against a top edge rusher.
People are treating it more like a Cam Erving performance (as SNR I believe has already said).
Given the situation I would like to see us run the ball a little more as well. We always hear how run blocking is easier than pass blocking so let this new OL gel a bit by knocking the piss out of the guys in front of them a bit more. [Reply]
People just need to understand that we always knew Brown and Fisher were pretty much a wash in terms of pass blocking. Brown is a better in defender, but it isn’t supposed to be a huge upgrade.
It’s probably best that way too, as SNR has said before, it might be a blessing in disguise if we can get him signed for a little cheaper than we expected. [Reply]
