Again, as an unabashed D-Lo apologist from the moment we drafted him, I have to point out that he was NEVER seen as a dynamic on-ball defender. He's a physical defender who won't have to dive under screens and can't be bully balled because he's surprisingly strong for a guy built like him.
But he's not a premier athlete and never has been.
I think he's an average defensive player who gets there in a fairly unconventional way for a perimeter player. That will work - but it ain't gonna work real well against Morant. [Reply]
