Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.
Yeah I wouldn't call it a bad trade and the season is long
but I would want to see a LOT more before paying him a gigantic contract. So far he looks like nothing special that you couldn't find in the draft. Hope he proves me wrong. [Reply]
It was his first game on a new team with a completely overhauled OL going up against once of the better defenses in the league. I think he did fine. Not great but not as bad as some are making it out to be either. [Reply]

Why are you now trying to move goalposts away from that specific point? You were the one that brought up Garrett’s pressures, not me. I was responding to YOUR point. [Reply]

Garrett's a great player. I don't see anything to freak out about.
Let me ask you this. If Brown Jr keeps struggling like this what do you do?
He is NOT gonna take a discount. He’s gonna want top LT $$. Keep in mind Patrick can’t keep loop-holing his contract every year, Tyreek will need paid soon and Matheiu too.
Hell I’m already entertaining the idea to give Creed Humphrey big money too he’s that ****ing good. And that’s 4 years away.
But paying Brown Jr complicated all of that [Reply]

If he keeps struggling he’s not going to get top LT money from anybody.
Depends on where his head is at. I’d probably throw a 2 year deal out there and hope to extend it if he’ll take it. If he doesn’t develop then he’s probably a RT. Whether that’s with us or someone else.
If he doesn’t want that, it depends where the coaching staff is at. If they think he can get there franchise tag. If they don’t walk. [Reply]
