So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]
Brown needs to get a lot better at pass blocking this year if he wants security --he was just above the league average. He surrendered 4 sacks, 34 hurries and 13 QB hits which tied for 3rd most in the league (TruMedia).
Of course helping the Chiefs win a Superbowl would do it too. [Reply]

If we weren’t willing to pay a damn good corner cheap money why would we do it for Sneed? Maybe bc we drafted him sure, but damn.
I think they see corner as plug-n-play
Josh Allen & the Bills seemed to enjoy playing vs our CB’s.
Made a lot of people think he was better than Mahomes.

That's about to all change. Allen and Burrow will look pedestrian against our new DBs. Actually I'm so stoked for this defense just one more DT or Edge and we would be gold but the potential for pick 6s and clocking the fuck out of running quarterbacks fuck yeah. [Reply]
let road grade some clowns this year. Our line is setup to be outstanding run blockers
Brown, Thuney, Creed, Trey and Kinnard....lets smashmouth and let the bodies hit the floor [Reply]

He’s a highly underrated player outside of KC, but he’s a complete corner with a high-end upside. I expect him to have a career year this season.
Uh, no way. He is pretty good and I agree that we are lucky to have him. He is not going to reset the market.
He will not demand more than Jalen Ramsey, Jaire Alexander, or Denzel Ward. He would be probably be lucky to get J.C. Jackson money. [Reply]
I'll be happy if Sneed just improves this season. He was good for a rookie and then didn't really get much better his second year. Hoping for a leap this year. [Reply]

We definitely need to run the ball more this year. We needed to do that last season also. It never happened, I am not sure it will this season either considering the HC and QB that we have. [Reply]
