No I get it. Every country was doing it. Just sucks. What a huge divide it still causes, even though it’s been over for this long.

I'm not going to read all of this but did want opinions. Generally I think the name is dumb. My daughters think I'm racist for that but really it's the name. Juneteenth isn't a word. I'd be happy with freedom day or emancipation or basically any other name that is a real word. Joy, elation, escape idk. What say you all. [Reply]
