I’ve seen enough. Dude is as meh as it gets. Pacheco needs to take his spot yesterday. Dude has bad vision and he’s slow.
I hope we scout the cuts list to find another RB to add to the group so we can cut him. Seriously the only reason this guy is still on the roster is because he was a first rd pick. [Reply]
The TE/H is not lead blocking (like a FB in Power). The read isn't based on the insert block or meant to follow it directly.
The read is the OC+RG combo and then Bend or Break from the RB. The Combo turns the 2i and picks up the WILL as he closes late. pic.twitter.com/SsZmVuw9dU
This one atelast can be attributed to trust and playing time. He's gotta let Smith get to that LB. THe more he plays, the more he'll trust that he will.
But look at his jump cut and move to the spot. CEH can't do that. [Reply]

If he's a 4th round pick, we don't give him the kind of opportunity he's had the first 2 seasons. And we probably don't keep him on the roster anymore at this point either. If Ronald Jones, who's best season was better than anything CEH has done, is essentially a non-entity then it would've happened to MEH by now as well.
He just never shows anything. It's pretty disappointing.
Yeah. The stat that always gets me is that his career long run is 31 yards. That came against Buffalo his rookie year (6th career game) before any injuries.
As good as the run blocking was last year, he had 7 games under 4 yards per carry and only 3 games over.
The optimistic side of me does point out that he was pretty decent in the playoffs, especially against Buffalo.

I’m holding out hope.
The one that always gets me is the Yards below expected.
His strength was said to be getting the yards that were there and then a little more. Nobody expected him to be a HR hitter (or at least I didn't) so the lack of a long-gain doesn't surprise me.
But the fact that you can block him for 5 and he gets 2 out of it drives me nuts. There was no excuse for not averaging 5 YPC last year. Or hell, at least 4.5. He was getting GREAT blocking. He just didn't do anything with it.
If you can't even be a JAG out there, what good are you? And if the staff doesn't trust you in the passing game, you're just a useless appendage. [Reply]

The way that's blocked up, fuck man, get 5 yards. There's no reason not to.
I agree. Any RB in the league should be salivating at a hole that size with a CB on the other end to fill it. 20+ RBs in the NFL right now take that one for at least 5 by either bowling over the RB or juking him out of his shoes.
With CEH's limitations, we know that just isn't on the menu. [Reply]

It’s really bizarre to watch. I’ve said this before, but his decision making and vision is like watching a baseball player with the yips. [Reply]

But if the Commanders are for sure out on Gibson, yeah, cut CEH and flip a 4th for him
Offer 'em CEH.
They may be interested in a couple change of scenery kind of guys. CEH still has the pedigree; maybe he just needs a different system. [Reply]
