Yeah the Neil Smith hate is pretty much retarded and hindsight driven. Chiefs told him to fuck off after he had a shitty 1996 season and they didn't want to pay him big bucks. Denver & San Diego were the only two to offer him a contract. And Denver's deal was a one year prove it deal.
