If Agbaji is back, they're going to have more returning scoring than they've had in a really long time. Even more than 97 and 86. Not saying they'll be as good as those teams. Most likely not. But then, I have my doubts that any in the field will be either.
My only concerns are whether they'll be capable of high-level defense and if they have a solid backup for Dave. I think it clearly won't be one of Self's best defensive teams, but can they at least play solid team D? [Reply]

In an interview from a few days ago, Agbaji appeared to be leaning toward coming back. I've heard he hasn't gotten good feedback so far, and he basically said that he needs a team to guarantee that they're taking him.
Combine that with Curry suddenly de-committing, and I think there's a good chance they're planning on Agbaji (and Wilson) being back. [Reply]

According to all Kansas fans, I'm apparently the only one jacked about kicking their ass again. I was told as Bill Self is around we will never play them again. [Reply]

They've obviously softened on this stance over the years. I mean, it's been what, 8 years, 10 years? I guess I would say that I'm not terribly surprised. The exhibition a few years ago was more surprising, and foretelling. I still don't think the rivalry will ever be the same. [Reply]
It may not be the usual KU schedule, but it's not bad. They'll likely play Alabama, which is probably a top 10 team. Michigan St is probably top 15-20. Not sure how good Colorado will be, but they were solid last season and that's a tough place to play.
Don't know why they were paired with St John's. They're not expected to be good. Some pretty good midmajors in there, and hopefully they'll get to pummel Kentucky in the SEC challenge. [Reply]

That was almost certainly a Jeff Long move. [Reply]
