There were people who did. You were not one of them that I recall, and I'm not looking to call anyone out as that's not my style. Just saying Reid has changed a lot of his old ways and notions and it's refreshing to see. If you have an immensely talented player who is clearly better than anyone else at the position, you put him in the game, especially at a position like RG.
As for your Niang comment, you are probably correct there at least to start the season, but if he just outperforms Remmers at an obvious level I won't be shocked to see him in there eventually.
All I know is going forward we have 5 immensely talented young starters on the line (assuming we keep Brown and Niang pans out) and that brings such peace of mind after what we saw in the Super Bowl. [Reply]

That 2019 team was like our 81 49ers team.
We're now building the 84 49ers and in a few years we'll be like the 89/90 49ers teams.

I feel like last year he may have slipped a little, but it was understandable with Covid and the whole team getting a little complacent.
These clips I'm seeing now, holy hell. That man looks like he's on a whole different level than I have ever seen. That quickness and strength he is displaying is other worldly. [Reply]
If Bolton and Gay are even solid players the defense gets much better immediately. Like way better.
Just look at how the Steelers defense was good with Shazier, collapsed without him and then got much better when they got the new replacements. [Reply]
