That was last year.
Broncos could start another 7 game, or more, win streak this year now that our SB winning D is back and we have a young home grown QB who is playing lights out at the helm.
BTW Charles is still looking good. They have stuck to their plan of giving him about 10 carries a game. His YPC is going back up too, ended the day with 5.1 yards up from 4 last week. I think they need to feed him at least 5 more to get a home run out of him. Maybe after the bye they will increase his workload. [Reply]

It's really hard to have confidence to make a throw when the defense has CB's 4 and 5 on the field.
This looks just like last year..when you rely on old players to be key players and need a QB to play above his head, the wheels generally fall off when you get an ass ton of road games. [Reply]
Love that VJ and Woods convinced John to get more beef on the DL. Peko alone has helped improve the run D, throw in a great 2nd round pick in Gotsis and the pick up of Shelby Harris and the D is back to being dominant.
Quesadilla - Did you notice Parks out there a lot yesterday? Were they taking Davis off and using Parks as the 2nd ILB to cover Witten in the Big Nickle type D? I had my brother and his family over and I couldn't rewind and diag the game. [Reply]

I'm still nervous every time JC carries the ball in the 2nd half... wish that weren't the case, but to me he's just a dude at this point. And, one that carries fumbilitis baggage for me.
I do like the way McCoy is playing the TEs and the RBs in the passing game... I think Trevor has looked pretty solid. Still a lot of room to improve and there will be much tougher defenses coming their way.
All is good right now, but I'm not kidding myself into believing this team is more than what I projected with 9-10 wins at this point.
Next 3 - @ Bills, vs Raiders, vs Giants -- they should be 4-1 worst case if they play as they have in the first 2 weeks. If they're 3-2, then it's missed opportunities. Thankfully, Garrett only misses a few games, maybe a month? We'll see.
The next 4 are @ Chargers, @ Chiefs, @ Eagles and vs Patriots --- that's when shit gets real. And, for all the griping about the first 5 games, that stretch of 4 makes up for it and should even things out for those that believe the initial home stretch is a big deal. Sure, for the initial record, it is - but it evens out. [Reply]
