It might sound a little crazy but I’m really beginning to wonder if they sat him out intentionally again.
Sounds like it. I heard something the other day that privately the Chiefs thought they would blow out the Colts so maybe that was their thinking. [Reply]
I think KC has to make stopping the run priority #1 and #2 for that matter.. NE doesn’t have the dynamic weapons to be too worried over top all the time. It’s not their style.
Just make sure you put Brady in plenty of 3rd and 6+ situations and we’re going to be just fine. [Reply]

We'll be fine
Brackets dont work vs Edelman. He sees the bracket, will change his alignment, or break off the route and not run into the bracket.
Think of Edelman as the QB of the WRs. He'll waive off Tom or run an option route which will draw the double just so someone else is in single coverage.
When Gronk could actually run, he told him what to do all the time. [Reply]

If you guys stop the run, you win. Ballgame
Tom isn't going 40-59 and 483 yards and 5 TDs. [Reply]

So when Brady and Edelman have a miscommunication, pick six baby! Didn't think that one thru, did ya Mr. Weatherman?:-) [Reply]

Gonna be great at the end of the game when Mahomes walks up to Brady as the clock hits zero and pulls a Heisenberg on him right to his face.

Maybe, but that ticky tacky penalty that extended that TD Drive after Brady threw a duck downfield and missed the wide open TD. So refs! Will be a lot tougher. [Reply]

That would not be a desirable outcome. ;-) [Reply]

Tom seems to have missed more wide open targets this year than in year's past. I don't think it's age or mental acuity but more systemic of the flux at WR. [Reply]
