Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.
Our first round pick is better than any LT that we would have picked at 31. Veach is a highly skilled talent evaluator. He’s by far, the best GM, I’ve ever seen the Chiefs have and I think he made excellent use of the 31st overall pick. [Reply]
Zeus has the size, center mass, arms, typewriter feet and a whole bunch of nasty. He reminds me a little bit of John Alt or young Willie Roaf. Same height as Alt, weighs a bit more but both were super physical in the run game. Obviously Willie is a hof pass protector. I see some of that in Zeus but he will have to develop more to be on that level. Let's face it, there weren't a lot of 5-7 step drops in the ravens offense. He's going to have to learn some new shit. They both agreed to play out his contract this year but they will re sign him in the offseason. They don’t know what the cap space will be next year so they are waiting [Reply]
