Yeah, i would pull the plug on him and get the surgeries going as soon as possible. He's basically worthless at this point anyway, and if it's injury related, I don't see that changing. [Reply]

I'm glad that's the measuring stick for $100 million dollar players around here. "Looks badass" with no power in his arms and a built in injury excuse.

Even good GM's make mistakes.
Even bad GM's occasionally hit on players.
Reid is one of the best coaches in football; and yes, he does have some weaknesses.
Veach is going to need to have a run of hits pretty damned soon; he's had a bunch of flops.
But you guys are so extreme. Dorsey was a good GM, but had some issues. Ballard is off to a good start, but the law of averages says he'll have his share of whiffs too.
Everything is not EITHER/OR.
It's much more complicated than that.
It's not that he's whiffing.
It's that he's whiffing and then he keeps doubling down on big risky deals and then whiffing on THOSE.
And it's from both ends. Free agency/trades and also the draft (well, the 2018 draft, anyway).
Some GMs are good. Some GMs are bad. Veach is a bad GM. What he's been able to acquire in the cheap years of paying a rookie superstar QB has been dreadful. [Reply]

That is a great question.
The other is why would the team have forked over so much $ and draft compensation for a player with 2 torn ligaments that essentially may mitigate the first year of the contract?
WTH?! [Reply]
If he straight up lied to the team about it that should give us an out to all that guaranteed money. I’d hope there was something written in the contract about that. [Reply]
