The reason Rhaegar has the kingsguard at the TOJ and places a high importance on protecting him/Lyanna is because he has a "dragon dream" ala Daeron in the Dunk and Egg novellas. [Reply]

If you watch the scene closely, you can see the guy handling the dogs standing over by Sansa several times as he, the dogs, and Sansa all watch the fighting. He and the dogs disappear right around the time that Theon stabs the last guy, so he clearly ran off witht he dogs back to winterfell. People will sure nitpick this show over the tiniest of details. They just want to get away from Ramsey. He already knows they escaped. [Reply]
-No one is ever really resurrected, but reanimated by warging. Bloodraven warged Beric and LSH.
-There are many stories of people "becoming" others who died and fulfilled their roles. Ned became Brandon, Garlan became Renly, Tommen became Joffrey, Young Griff became Aegon, etc.
-This leads to: Jon doesn't really ever come back, although it may seem like he does. He gets warged by Bran (fulfilling his wish to be a knight and a hero) and this Jon/Bran abomination fulfils the Azor Ahai prophecy.

Man, he makes a LOT of assumptions in that. I really hope the story doesn't play out like that, it is far too complicated and weird for me. I'll be pretty disappointed. [Reply]

I've been wondering about this as well. It would fit Kit and D&D's promises that Jon Snow is dead. [Reply]

Why did he not loose the hounds on the big woman as she lay on her back, momentarily dazed and struggling? [Reply]
Fuck man, who gives a rat fuck about the goddamn dogs? I can see you fuckers standing up in the theater and yelling "He didn't get out of the cockadoody car!!!" [Reply]
That would have been a great time to reintroduce Arya's Direwolf. That fucker is still alive and in the books Arya wargs him from time to time. I have to believe that they are going to unite them eventually in the book. Why not have it come in and kick some attack dog ass to protect Sansa. It would have been epic.
The show is a little disappointing in that aspect. They just don't show much warging. [Reply]
