The NFL would meltdown.
I think Ross is only under contract this year and next but I like where you're headed with this! [Reply]

We have his rights for 3 more years basically. He will be a RFA after year 3, so we may have other teams going after him but if it gets to that point where he’s balling that hard, they’d likely try to extend him before that 4th year. [Reply]
At first glance, I thought Ross looked pretty good vs. CLE secondary.
However, when Denzel Ward pressed him, Ross couldn't get any separation, and he didn't catch a ball vs. Denzel. And Ward isn't elite, though he is pretty good, a legit CB1, imo.
Not every team has a DB as good a Denzel though, so we'll see how it plays out. [Reply]

True. And the reality is that Ross probably won't see a CB1 across the line from him at all this year. As a probable WR5/6/7, it's almost a certainty that the DB guarding him will be some 2nd/3rd string guy. At least until Justyn proves that he can't be covered by such.
It was interesting though to see a true high-quality starting DB vs. Ross for 4-5 reps. [Reply]

I'm praying that I can scoop him up in a late round for fantasy but there's another Chiefs fan in my league who might pounce first. The potential ROI is crazy [Reply]

If you’re in a ppr league I might lean toward Rice. He seems like the kind of guy who will get fed whereas Ross would be the type to get the goal line targets. [Reply]
