This is where I’m calling my shot. Deep speed and can threaten all three levels of the field. He can house a screen. No he isn’t physical and doesn’t get contested catches but we don’t throw many. HOLLYWOOD TIME. [Reply]
The only thing bad about that trade is if the Lions stupidly believe their CB woes have been fixed (they probably do) and that takes another player off the table for Sneed.
And that's not that bad. Somebody's going to bite. [Reply]

If he can be had at/near the Davis contract (probably not terribly realistic) then I'd be on board.
3/$45? I could live with that.
He really would fit damn nicely here and the possibility of playing with Mahomes has to have some appeal to him. Especially as a guy who could potentially hit the market again in time to get another decent deal. [Reply]

Doesn't feel like the Chiefs have any intention of making him do so. They'll move him for a late 2nd before they did that.
If for no other reason than it's a pretty nasty look for a guy who's really respected in the lockerroom and truly will only get one shot at a big contract.
They'll do it right with Sneed, IMO. They'll get him extended or traded. They're not going to make him play on the tag (and he WOULD play on the tag if they insisted on it. He's only made $4 million in his NFL career - he's not missing on over $1 million/wk in guaranteed money). [Reply]

The Panthers are so dumb for not taking that offer from the Rams (assuming the reports were true).
I never thought for one second those reports were true.
Wasn't it something like 2 firsts? A 1st and a 2nd? I mean just obviously loony tunes stuff, IMO.
Had they been able to get that deal done they'd have likely been able to get up to 1.1 without giving up their 2024 first rounder. Oh they'd still suck - even worse in fact, but they'd be sitting in the catbirds seat right now instead of Chicago.
There's just no way they turned that deal down. [Reply]
