Mooney is an obvious fit. He's got speed, is an intelligent route runner, can make difficult catches and works inside and outside. His talent with Pat could really turn him into a very good receiver imo. Plus he had his best year with Nagy as HC. [Reply]
The thing about Mooney is that he would allow you to possibly target one of these big WRs in the draft too. That or you just continue adding speed. [Reply]

Exactly what I want to do. Mooney and Hardman as the speed and a faster guy who can give you some of that Rice did would be nice, especially with Kelce’s age [Reply]

Mooney + a Hardman return + Round 2 WR seems like a pretty nice approach to fixing WR to me.
Hardman does the gadget/motion stuff. Mooney is the Z receiver. Rice is the bully slot. Round 2 WR plays outside.
Someone like Xavier Legette or Brendan Rice would be pretty nice fits in that situation.
I'm warming up to Rice. I like the size, I want to see if he runs in the 4.3s as expected, and I keep seeing him show good instincts on play extensions. That's going to matter as long as 15 is taking snaps. [Reply]

A lot of people don’t want him but man McConkey is a really good route runner with natural catching ability. He’s also really smart. 6 ft 192 lbs.
Would really fit in well here assuming we got our MVS replacement already [Reply]

I like any WR that runs good routes and catches the ball.
The issue is value.
Would I want to spend a 1st on a slot guy instead of a #1 WR? [Reply]

He has a career drop rate of about 4.1 percent, league average is about 7.5, and his only season AT or ABOVE that rate was a few years ago.
Over his career, he has caught 59% of the passes he’s been targeted in. Last year was barely 50%. That was the lowest on the team and Mooney had been there the longest.
Moore was at 71% with the same QB
Fields completed 63% of his passes to everyone else last year and barely 50% to Mooney.
I think I’d rather just see them bring Mecole back…or even Richie James. [Reply]
