Wonder if they’ll have a career mode where you can be your own player and make decisions such as whether or not to buy a house on a street that has curbs [Reply]

You have to negotiate a salary greater than 45,000/yr in career mode to get that. [Reply]
Leave it to Madden to take maybe the best pass attempt in history and run it into the ground by making it an option an every snap, even when it makes no sense. Fucking stupid. [Reply]
There are still a butt ton of franchise features that were in the last Madden on PS2 that haven't been added back...
Lets just call a spade a spade, Madden is an arcadey style football game, it is not a sim game, it is not for franchise players either. They don't care about adding anything for that mode because that isn't what nets them anything..
Madden Ultimate Team, that one single mode is why nothing else ever gets fixed. [Reply]

Funny because they added a shit ton to that mode :-) [Reply]
I just think it's funny when anyone says oh yea Madden is great...no no it's not. If you wanna play it for what it is and enjoy it, that's fine though.
Just don't tell me it's some masterclass of sports video game making cause it's not. It's a game built for casual game players to entice them to spend money on MUT mode. Which is netting them something stupid like 900 million dollars a year.
If they actually cared about making a game that was a true sim for franchise players they'd start by rebuilding that entire engine from the ground up, but why would do that? Their current one is profitable even if it blows. [Reply]
