I knew someone would say that. FWIW, I hated Vanilla Ice...:-)
But seriously, I like the way his voice sounds, it's unique. The Slim Shady stuff early annoyed the hell out of me, but Lose Yourself was really good, and Cleaning out my closet was great. He sings (or raps, whatever) with a ton of emotion and it's compelling. What can I say?
I've never bought any of his stuff and I'm lightly familiar with any of his music, but I do like the way he sounds.

This lineup is still pretty "boomer-ish". I'm not a rap fan at all but I do like the album 2001 by Dr. Dre. Great fucking album. The Chronic is also great of course. The best of all time according to many. Now that I think of it, the 90s and early early 2000s had several albums I didn't mind. [Reply]

It’s not too much to ask IMO, oh well rant over… but I am NOT a boomer you ageists, its Gen X
Smarten up!
I've come to accept we aren't getting Maiden or Priest or anything like that.
At least this year isn't Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Lady Googoo, or shitty Maroon 5. Or "The Weeknd". God that was insufferable.
I remember seeing Shakira and J-Lo on mute, which is always a welcome sight, but I was busy frantically trying to shovel all the POOP out of my shorts at that moment to really pay attention. [Reply]
