Not really but lewdog has been presented with a pretty good deal and would like to hear from car enthusiasts. Note, I don't know much about cars but I would like to own a somewhat nice one someday. My current ride is a 2001 Toyota Celica with 98k miles. Boy howdy!
My Father-in-law bought a 2005 Mustang GT Premium new on custom order and has kept the car this whole time garaged/covered. He only drove it during the short summers in Montana. It only has 14,500 miles on it! He's done quite a few modifications, which I have scanned below. Not sure what it all means but it's around 10k of modifications.
He's wanting to sell it as it's never gotten much use and is offering it to me for 13k. When comparing this to other Mustang GTs of that year, it's lower in price and has lower miles.

Check the insurance rate...
Yes it's tan leather. Not sure how you keep leather from cracking here in AZ?
Have email into insurance agent for quote. I am sure that's not going to be pretty! :-) [Reply]
The 4:10 gears will make the odometer read incorrectly if I'm not mistaken? He may have had it calibrated through.
You live in a warm weather climate where there is no threat of snow, so I'd say pull the trigger ASAP. I'd buy it for $13k in a heartbeat, even in this shitty Missouri weather. [Reply]
If you do buy it sell the handheld tuner and put the cash towards a dyno tune since the cams have been changed. You could possibly pick up a few or a lot more ponies. The bad thing about those 4.6's are they don't produce much power unless you have some kind of FI. Coming from a Celica though... It should be a blast for you!
If you are looking in that price range you should check out 04-06 GTOs. Those are one of the best bangs for the buck right now. A nice 04 example is right around that price range and will have more power stock then the 4.6 even with the cams. [Reply]

Eh. Interior is tan which should make it better. Plenty of dark blue and black cars being driven in Phoenix. Most people don't think any differently about color choice surprisingly. A hot car is a hot car here!

This right here is sooo true. LOL.
And my car runs fine and I was not in the market for a different car. This just seems like a deal I don't want to pass up.

Yea it has low miles but a 10 year old car is still 10 years old. Things go simply because of time and time alone. Worries me as I planned to buy a new car within the next 2 years, not an older model. However, this is about half the cost of what I'd be spending on a new car and a hell of a lot more fun than the car I'd be buying. [Reply]
