Andy Reid stood at the combine in 2023 and said Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney were their top WR’s. We saw how that went.
In fact, can anyone tell me without looking what WR has had the most snaps of any Chiefs WR the last 2 seasons? Anyone? Ready for it? It’s Justin Watson. Nobody has played more snaps at that position than him the last 2 years.
Don’t even get me started on the OL. A late 3rd and late 2nd on tackles are considered projects. They are not real shots at a LT historically speaking. Shocking that they turned out to look like projects.
We have had 5 starting LT’s the last 2 years. FIVE.
The RB room had the least explosive plays of any RB room in the entire league. Only 17 10+ explosive plays all year. We even had some loser with an Alligator that plays FB take starting snaps :-)
I get that it sucked losing Pacheco, Hollywood and Rashee. I understand and am not faulting Veach. The fact is that Kareem Hunt, Juju, DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce are old. They aren’t explosive anymore. That was painfully clear tonight. It’s why Veach doesn’t like signing 30+ year old players unless he absolutely has to.
Again this isn’t a Veach bitch fest it’s just the facts. I think Veach is gonna take a hammer to this offense and hard after OL and explosive playmakers.
Thankfully he’s got an extra pick early thanks to Sneed [Reply]

Yikes.
Yeah, another year of Mahomes with middle 20's TD total in a 17 game season, when he easily was a 40+ TD guy a few years ago, even Clark Hunt would FINALLY have to wonder and do some quality control. I think last year Mahomes at one time had like 6 TD's and 8 INT's and without the 3 TD's in the Steelers game his season would have ended with 23 TD's and 11 picks. His interceptions have doubled and his TD's have effectively been halved in the last couple years. [Reply]
Why does this have to be one or the other? Why can't it be a combination of Nagy and poor offensive personnel at key positions? Personally, I think it might be a combo.
That being said, I think it was far more about personnel than play calling. [Reply]
If Nagy is ruining the offensive numbers, then shouldn’t we give credit to EB? Maybe he did more here than just run errands for Andy and yell at the players? [Reply]

EB did get to run the Washington offense for a year and from what I saw he was light years better than Nagy in the passing concepts.
EB had a terrible QB who isn't even really a good backup, bad OL, and one good weapon and managed quite well.
Whenever even a decent backup at QB went into the game the Washington offense moved the ball easily and put up points.
Is he the answer? Probably not but I would take EB over Nagy any time. [Reply]

Bieniemy was horrible and needed to be replaced by Nagy according to this board
SOME on this board. Bieniemy brought all of what Nagy brings to the offense, plus way more accountability. I for one, wish we still had him as OC. Would have liked Bieniemy as OC and Nagy as QB Coach. [Reply]
