What are some of your favorite YouTube channels? I enjoy watching restoration videos. From random pieces of equipment or old electronics. It kind of makes me wish I learned how to do some of these things.

Grind Hard Plumbing... They are not plumbing videos. They just make some very interesting "toys" that every adult man with testosterone would love to make.

https://www.youtube.com/@GrindHardPlumbingCo

here is a video demonstrating some of their creations. The title is about their Barbie Jeep they built(which is very cool) but they also show some of their other Frankenstein creations they built.

Renaissance Periodization - weight lifting advice, and damn funny take downs of bullshit celeb workouts. Also gives credit to good celeb workouts. Tons of self deprecating humor.

BangerTV - reviews/previews of metal albums.

Outdoor Boys - goofy looking guy doing crazy stuff in Alaska.

Gluck's Gym - dorky guy reviewing home gym equipment. He's pretty funny and makes fun of himself constantly.

Huckberry - some great travel/food shows.

Amoeba Records - What's in my bag is awesome.

Most of the rest I watch are various bands.

I watch a fuckton of Youtube. Especially when I'm in the office and need some noise. Unfortunately there are lot of good concepts for channels, but I think they feel compelled to keep making videos even though their ideas are stale so they shift to "entertainment" type videos. So ultimately most channels have a shelf life.

Financial
Oaktree Captial
Plain Bagel
JP Morgan Asset Management
The Compound
Ben Felix

Food
Ethan Chlebowski
Food Wishes (Love Chef John)
Andy Cooks (even though periodically he does weird Aussie shit)
Guga
Cowboy Kent Rollins
Meat Church BBQ
That dude can Cook
Joshua Weissman (less so now that he's doing less instruction)
J Kenji Lopez-Alt
Rick Bayless (He's Skips brother, but thankfully the diametric opposite)
Babish (less so now that he's doing less instruction)
Guga
Cowboy Kent Rollins

Educational
Patrick Boyle
How Money Works
Crash Course
Modern MBA
Animagraffs
Economics Explained
Dork Videos (not as much, but when Marvel and Game of Thrones were deep I needed dorks to explain it to me)
Emergency Awesome

Sports
Kansas City Chiefs (duh)
Ryen Russillo
Bill Simmons
Chase Daniel

Misc
Shop Nation (Mostly woodworking, but some other stuff in there too)
James Hoffman (the nerdiest of coffee nerds with a side of nerd. But he's nerdy enough to be full circle back to pretty cool)
Growling Sidewinder (Somehow I enjoy watching videos of planes flying in Digital Combat Simulator. No clue why)
scholaglaiatoria (medeival arms videos)
