How do I get this story, a feel good one, out to NBC, CNN, FOX? Instead of a 15 yro shooting up a Christian School or some dude that kills a dude in the back....
My German sister in law (sweetie), who never travels by her self, came to KS and forgot her I-Pad in an airport TSA check point, coming over during a layover in Chicago. She just lost her husband to cancer 1 month ago, and had numerous photos on her device.
The Pilot of the United flight went and found it for her. Delayed the flight for 4 minutes to do this and returned it to her.
My wife, who is a Travel Agent, took these notes and passed them on to her American Express Agents, thus a lot of airport/travel agent lingo...
Here is her story....
I edited it to a degree with ****
"Hello,
I traveled on UA561/17DEC ORDMCI *(United)*. I arrived late on UA945/17DEC FRAORD *(Chicago)* leaving less than 1hrs connecting time. I am traveling by air for the first time alone after my husband passing less than 6 weeks ago due to leukemia.
My husband was an employee of LH *(Lufthansa)* and worked on the flight simulators. I have always been afraid of flying however he managed to keep me calm during our travels.
I am visiting my sister in Kansas not to have to spend Christmas at home
*(alone)*.
After making it through customs, immigrations and TSA I finally got to my plane UA561/17DEC and made it onboard. Along my journey through the ORD airport, I met very friendly and helpful people pushing me in front of the lines knowing I was pressed for time making my connecting flight.
I arrived onboard and was greeted by a very friendly flight attendant, I sat down in my chair and reached into my board case. I noticed my tablet was missing. The announcement of doors is closing just started.
I reached out to the flight attendant and advised under tears that TSA still has my tablet. Ordinarily that would not have been live threatening, but I had a lot of my husband’s pictures on that device.
They stopped the announcement. Next I knew, the pilot came over as I am still crying knowing I just lost a precious thing to me.
He just said hold on Ma'am and disappeared. Less than 5 minutes later he appeared, in his hands my TABLET.
Unbelievable act of kindness from this UA airline pilot and his crew. In the spirit of Christmas, I knew my husband flew with me all the way.
A huge THANK YOU to the flight crew UA561/17DECORDMCI and a Merry Christmas to you.
It is so nice to know there is still kindness and compassion in this hectic and sad world.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
XXXX XXXXXX"
My wife forwarded this to the United desk with appreciation. But I want this story to be seen, as a heart warning gesture and what humanity is about, with more exposure during the Holidays.
I don't know the pilots name, but kudos out to him.
How do I do this?

You, as always, will interpret it as "blew me".
Always some sort of sexual connotation and juvenile with you on ALL your posts. Unsurprising and sad and unfunny. Try "Stand Up" with your tripe.
Interested in your retort. I won't be disappointed
