I'm sorry, what?

You mean the same Ray Allen that drilled a 3 off a LeBron James miss (and a Chris Bosh offensive rebound) to even survive game 6? That Ray Allen?

And you're gonna sit here and call out folks for not recognizing that Toni Kukoc made the HoF (based almost exclusively on his international play) and then diminish Chris Bosh?

FFS you're a hypocrite.

You're talking about the game where Miami was down 10 entering the 4th and LeBron had 14 in the 4th quarter to carry the Heat back (while also posting another 30+ point triple double in a NBA Finals elimination game) and hit a three 15 seconds before that to even give them a chance at the win, right? Somehow that part gets forgotten quite frequently.

I'm not calling out anybody for anything, but MJ's final Bulls teams were undeniably better than those Heat teams (and really better than any team in NBA history other than KD Warriors) and that really doesn't have much to do with how many HOFers in name were on either of those teams.

(2013) Revisionist History. 👑

"Ray Allen saved LeBron's legacy"

REALITY: LeBron James goes crazy in the 4th QT & saves the Heat in Game 6. (Down by 10, LeBron drops 16 pts & goes on a run where he either scores or assists on 22 MIA pts) pic.twitter.com/6IXubEBk8u

Doesn't matter. Without the rebound from Bosh and clutch shot from Allen, he misses the biggest shot of the game and gets eliminated.

Also, Lebron had a couple turnovers at the end of that game that made it come down to that :-)

Did Steve Kerr make a big shot once or did I just imagine it

Did it save the Bulls and MJ from being eliminated?

Did it come immediately after a game losing miss from MJ?

False equivalency.

Maybe? It could very well have gone to game 7 if he didn't hit that shot, a shot that occurred only 20 seconds after MJ missed one of his own.

The point was that everyone gets help sometimes. It doesn't make game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals any less of a ridiculous carry job/comeback by LeBron in that 4th quarter.

Maybe? :-)

The answer is no. It wasn't an elimination game.

I don't care what your point is. It's a whataboutism and a false equivalency.

Or if Ginobli/Parker (both excellent FT shooters) makes both their FTs vs making and missing one then Lebron leaves Miami and his super team with one ring.

One of the greatest carry jobs/4th quarter comebacks in NBA Finals history isn't erased because Ray Allen hit a shot at the end of a game.

Again, it wasn't just the shot, he had a couple of turnovers late in the game that made it come down to him missing the game winning shot.

Nobody cares what you did in the 4th Q if you choked in the last couple of minutes, which is exactly what the narrative would've been (rightfully so) without Allen saving the day.

No clue how anybody could think that if they have even minor knowledge of NBA history.

KCC likes to play the game of revisionist history since they were a disappointment relative to expectations/hype.

He scored or assisted on 22 straight points to win a NBA Finals elimination game in the 4th quarter. :-)
