Roger Corman, one of the most influential movie directors in my life, has passed away. It was my privilege to know him.He was a great friend. He shaped my childhood with science fiction movies and Edgar Allen Poe epics. I'll miss you, Roger.

RIP you sweet bastard.
LOVED Joe Bob Briggs.
But Roger Corman…. Dude was a legend. And fucking brilliant. Mentored soooooo many young filmmakers and actors through his B system. While he might not necessarily be a household name, he mentored many, many “graduates” through his system, that have become legends in their own right. He was never afraid to give talented, young aspiring artists their chance to learn and cut their teeth in the business. There will likely never be another one like him. RIP. [Reply]
